Registration Information 2025-26 & Summer Development Reminder

Registration Information for the 2025-26 season is now live!

ALL INFORMATION is SUBJECT TO CHANGE according to regulations released by the HNS Female Council

IN A NUTSHELL... 2025-26:

  • Players may be automatically wait-listed during the registration process, as we monitor the number of players and projected teams per age division. Our intention is to always provide a place for everyone to play, but team roster spots are limited. Wait-lists allow us to consider alternatives to overrostering (beyond 15 skaters per team). Register early!
  • New to MEIFHA this season?
      • First -time hockey players, players and volunteers joining MEIFHA for the first time due to moves or transfer requests, please refer to the information HERE.
      • Joining us in U7 or U9? Click HERE.
  • Registration fees have increased by $25 this season due to increased insurance, and operating costs.
  • A late fee of $75 will be applied to all U11 - U18 registrations after the August 15th deadline.
  • U18 Major Hopefuls must declare intentions by August 1st.
  • *CHANGES FOR 2025-26* Options for Preseason Development Sessions and U13/U15 Evaluations have changed: We offer Preseason Development Sessions in lieu of traditional Conditioning Camps. At MEIFHA, we strive to provide a positive environment for players, especially during preseason development sessions and evaluations. To this end, we listen to our members and adapt. Click HERE for detailed information and to see the potential schedule template for September 2025.
  • MEIFHA continues to explore the possibility of C categories in the U15 and U18 age divisions this season.

Registration should be set to go live at midnight tonight.

REMINDER for Summer Development Sessions: All invitees, please remember to send your $200 payment no later than June 25th. Wait-listed players will be invited to fill any open spaces and all special requests will be considered immediately following the payment deadline.

Will your family be moving out of the Metro East Zone? Have you made any other plans that mean you won't be playing hockey with us this season, or know someone who has? While we are sad to lose anyone, we also greatly appreciate any updates, as it helps us plan ahead. Simply reply to this email. Thank you!

Looking forward to a great season,

MEIFHA.
