Inferno Player Recognized – Fair Play Award
2017-10-10
Each year, the Whalers awards Fair Play trophy’s to players from each division.
We wanted to pass along a congratulations to Addison Demont, who played for the Atom A Inferno last season, which were hosted by the Dartmouth Whalers.
Each year, the Whalers awards Fair Play trophy’s to players from each division and Addison was selected for the Atom division.
2016-2017 was Addison’s first year playing organized hockey after participating in the Bauer First Shift program last year.
Although it was her 1st year, she was a quick learner and became a regular contributor all season as a defenseman.
Mid-season, Addison suffered a hockey injury which required physio therapy and rest. This didn’t slow down Addison at all, as she often still came to games and practices to support her teammates.
Before long, she was able to rejoin the team and finish off the year showing great commitment to her teammates.
Congratulations Addison!
